Upcoming Temple Judea Museum Exhibit

The Glowing Candles of Shabbat, by Marlene Adler

Through Different Eyes invites artists of the museum's Collaborative group to select and display groups of objects from the museum's permanent collection. For this first exhibition of an annual series Joan Myerson Shrager, Paula Mandel, Marlene Adler and Naomi Godel are  guest curators. The act of selecting an object and choosing the story it tells is the act of curating.

Even though an object, or artifact is inanimate and  unchanging, it can tell different stories. Our artist  members each have specific and exciting ways of looking at our treasures. The stories they choose  to tell will enlighten and enrich all of us. This exhibition will run through the month of February
