       Art as Tikkun Olam

The Art as Tikkun Olam exhibition at The Temple Judea Museum features some of Philadelphia's most renowned artists. KI members, Joan Myerson Shrager and Paula Mandel, guest curators, came up with the idea of celebrating other artists who reach out beyond their studios to "heal and restore the world".

NEXT EXHIBIT: "Don't cook with your back to the stove". "A bubby should always have a "pulka (Chicken leg) in the refrigerator". These are words of wisdom from, respectively, kosher caterer Mollie Ochroch and Ida Rosen of Rosen's Famous Bakery. Both will be featured in the museum's fall exhibition, "KOSHER CATERERS: Dear Carl, by (sic) carrots, Love Mollie". The museum wants to find more of these gems of food related quotes from bubbies far and wide. Please send any of your treasures or ask your friends to do the same.  More about our Museum
