WHO: Main Line Symphony Orchestra (MLSO)

WHAT: KI Music Arts Community Family Concert Conductor Don Liuzzi, Principal Tympani of The Philadelphia Orchestra, will conduct an expanded orchestra of 85+ members in a program which includes: Gustav Holst's Lyric for viola and orchestra, with guest soloist Judy Geist, recently retired violist with The Philadelphia Orchestra.
The program will also include the first movement of Samuel Barber's Cello Concerto with the winner of the annual James Deitz Memorial Prize (t.b.a.).
The MLSO program will conclude with Gustav Holst's magnificent The Planets with soloist KI's own Organist Lucas Brown, and the women of the
Philadelphia Chorale.  Ticket price is $40 for this concert, which is a tribute to the late pianist and Curtis President Gary Graffman, whose friendship and help were invaluable in initiating the Music Arts concerts 27 years ago.
