On Sundays students focus on skills and values surrounding their B’nai Mitzvah.  They work on siddur skills and visual T’fillot that will be used in their B'nai Mitzvah service as well as participating in an Israel exchange with students who are also preparing for B’nai Mitzvah in Israel. All Sixth Graders are assigned a Hebrew 1x1 teacher help the students learn to fluently read their synagogue’s Hebrew prayer goals.

On Tuesdays students study the Torah and its weekly cycle.  They learn about the parsha they will read for their B’nai Mitzvah and prepare a creative presentation about it.  The second half of the year they learn about the Holocaust and our obligation to continue telling the story.
