43: Spring 2011 EXHIBITION AND TWO SPECIAL PROJECTS

PROJECT TWO: In honor of the 10th anniversary of Rabbi Lance J. Sussman as Senior Rabbi of Keneseth Israel the congregation asked noted artist Mordechai Rosenstein to create an original art work. When asked to select a theme, Rabbi Sussman chose a phrase from a traditional blessing, 

Blessed is our God, Ruler of the Universe, who hallows us with mitzvot and commands us to engage in the study of Torah. 

“To Engage in the Study of Torah – la’asok b’divrei Torah” is the title of this beautiful, unique image.
