TIKKUN NEFESH w/ DR. DEBORAH SHAIN

Deborah Shain, LCSW, BCD will offer Kenesseth Israel’s Adult Education Program “Tikkun Nefesh”, an interactive session designed to awaken participants’ creativity while confronting the challenges that come with the gift of maturity. Combining humor, guided imagery and mindfulness, her presentation will be both entertaining and informative.

As we tune into “Tikkun – (repairing) our Nefesh – (soul or internal sense of self) the realities of our physical and spiritual lives may seem beyond our control. For instance, what happens to us when the expected “music” of our lives suddenly transposes harmony into jarring cacophony? When we least expect it, circumstances may demand that we find our hidden strengths. Deborah’s innovative program will stimulate the resiliency that is extant in all of us. Figuratively, we will learn to sing and dance — renewing our souls with undiscovered possibilities.
