Our High Holy Day Appeal Continues through October 31, 2020 – DONATE HERE!
Dear Congregants,
Thank you for your generosity!
Thank you for making KI a priority during the High Holy Days!
Thank you for listening on the radio, and tuning in on your computers and iPad and smart phones.
Thank you for showing up in your cars for Shofar on the Roof and wearing your masks at our Kol Nidre for the Soul Service!
Thank you for your continued membership and generous donations to our KI community.
Compared to last year, this High Holy Day appeal has been very successful. As of today, more than 80 households have donated close to $19,000 dollars. That is double the number of households that donated last year!
While donations from 80 households is an important number, it only represents 11% of our KI Community. I have requested that our High Holy Day Appeal remain open until the end of October so more of our households can be added to this list.
This reminder is for you to show how important KI, and the work we do within and around our community, resonates with you.
On Yom Kippur, we are supposed to be thoughtful about what is important in the way we live our lives. Your generous donations show that your devotion to KI has only strengthened through this pandemic.
Hundreds of families in our community viewed our services and everyone agreed that the quality of music, visuals, prayers and sermons was consistent with the beauty and pageantry of services held live in our sanctuary.
After celebrating the High Holy Days virtually and hearing from many of you, I realized our synagogue never closed, our services simply moved out of our building and into your homes.
Your High Holy Day donation will help us keep the quality of services, to you, and our KI community.
Sincerely,
Janice
