Join us for each night of Hanukkah as we light our candles and say the blessings. Each night will have a different leader, with additional festivities. Please have your menorah, candles, and lighter/matches ready when you join us, so we can all enjoy the lights of the holiday together!

All lightings are at 6:00 p.m. and are by Zoom (Join Zoom Meeting- https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86706621014 Meeting ID: 867 0662 1014) except for Friday, December 11. Stream Services on our Website & Facebook Page. 

We were hoping for a festive outdoor Community candle lighting on the 4th night of Hanukkah, Sunday December 13th. However, due to the spike in positive cases of Covid-19 throughout the area, our Senior Staff felt it was safer for us to plan to light the candles together on Zoom. 

Thursday, December 10, First Night of Hanukkah: Join Rabbi Lance J. and Liz Sussman as they light the first candle, sing Hanukkah Candle Blessings and tell the Hanukkah story.

Friday, December 11, Second Night of Hanukkah and Shabbat: Join Cantor Amy Levy and Andrew Senn with KI teachers and students as we celebrate the joyousness of Hanukkah in song. (watch on Facebook and StreamSpot)

Saturday, December 12, Third Night of Hanukkah: Join our Confirmation Class of 2020 as they light the Hanukkah candles, affirm their faith and become Confirmed.  

Sunday, December 13, Fourth Night of Hanukkah: Join our Chair of Inclusion, Ellen Sklaroff, along with Cantor Levy as they light the candles and light up your smiles with funny zoom stories, things that only happen in the virtual world, and some KI bloopers.  

Monday, December 14, Fifth Night of Hanukkah: Join Hazzan David F. and Ellen Tilman as they light the candles and share some music of Hanukkah. Following our Candle Lighting, please join us for Women of KI & HaMotzi Hanukkah Bingo! RSVP here.

Tuesday, December 15th, Sixth Night of Hanukkah: Join KI President Janice Schwartz-Donahue and husband, Joe, as they light the candles and lead us in sharing Hanukkah family traditions.

Wednesday, December 16th, Seventh Night of Hanukkah: Join KI Youth Advisor Danielle Carlin with husband, Sean, as they light the candles and share Hanukkah games!

Thursday, December 17th, Eighth Night of Hanukkah: Join Rabbi Shoshanah Tornberg, Director of JQuest B’Yachad and Quest Noar, as she lights the candles and shares a great Hanukkah story.
