“Thank You Sir Lance, – A Lot!”  Opening: Friday, April 22 – June 30, 2022

The Temple Judea Museum, along with the rest of the KI community, celebrates Rabbi Lance J. Sussman and the end of his tenure as Senior Rabbi of Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel with a special exhibition titled, “Thank You Sir Lance, – A Lot!”, in appreciation of our rabbi’s many and unique contributions to this museum.

For almost every exhibition, he has written a gallery statement in which he provides rabbinic context for the objects and thematic subjects on display. He always has something wonderfully insightful to say so, for this display, we gathered excerpts from just a few of his most memorable rabbinic statements along with matching objects from selected, significant past exhibitions.

Also included here are works by artists of the TJM Artists’ Collaborative and a handmade book, created by TJM artists especially for Rabbi Sussman. Selected prints are available for purchase so that you can own a print of the original art work created especially for Rabbi Sussman.
