Thursday, Sept. 5 11:30 a.m. JEWISH ARTISTS YOU SHOULD KNOW MARVIN KREITHEN This talk is an overview of the work of noted Jewish artists who are included in the collections of the world's top museums. Part II (from about 1940 to the present) describes the Modern Jewish Artists who have been recognized as the leading artists of our time. Marvin Kreithen was Vice President of the Computerized Manufacturing Systems division of Bridgeport Machines, holder of 6 patents, Administrative Couple for Marriage Encounter Weekends in the 1980’s. He and his wife Leslie have rafted the Grand Canyon, canoed 70 miles of the Allagash River in northern Maine, backpacked in the Tetons and Canyon de Chelly, and hiked coast to coast in England. He has driven Philly to LA/SF seven times. He has no formal art credentials, other than that he has visited most of the top fifty art museums in Europe and the U.S. and in college was Art Editor of the Drexel Institute Technical Journal.
